It doesn’t have a ton of natural flavor and it’s a little bit more watery than yellow egg, but neither of these things matter when the sausage carries the flavor (and constancy) of the sandwich. While a lot of frozen turkey sausage can end up super rubbery, this batch manages the freezing and reheating process pretty well. The sausage does the bulk of the work in the flavor department. That’s because everything else we’ve tried has been either meat and cheese or egg and cheese - these ones are meat, egg, and cheese all in the same sandwich. Don’t expect gristly, chewy meat this is perfection. Right away, we noticed that these are a bit thicker than the other Sandwich Bros. This is real angus beef, and it’s fantastic it’s rich in flavor and tender, so eating it is a pleasant experience. These make for a super convenient, super quick breakfast. Simply wrap one in a paper towel and toss it into the microwave for about 90 seconds. One of the things we love about these sandwiches is that they’re super, super easy to cook. This actually seems like a combination of the Egg & Cheese Sandwiches and the Sausage & Cheese Sandwiches.
